You will find some very nice pieces of jewellery, some of which depict ancient styles, such as the 'Phaistos disc' of the Minoic Crete and some others are more modern in style and might have ornamental decorations. I visited these small jewellery shops last week and I was fascinated by the variety of pieces that you can find!
My first choice is the following ring in sterling silver gold plated metal, depicting the 'Phaistos Disc' by Angelopoulos silver & accessories. Phaistos disc is a disc discovered at the Minoan Palace in Crete around the Minoan Bronze Age and it is made by fired clay. The reason for which it was created and its purpose remain a mystery. This ring is so unique and it might remind you of jewellery pieces that you can only find at museums.
Next, I found a very on trend ring in sterling silver gold plated metal figuring a small fish painted half in blue. My zodiac sign is 'Pisces', so I really like jewellery with fish. However, the ones that have the exact zodiac sign on are not of my personal taste. I prefer the ones which are modern and different. This one comes also from a jewellery shop at Monastiraki in Athens.
Earrings could not be missing from this blog! If you have read my previous posts, you already know how much I love them!
