My name is Iakovina. I started my studies in geology, because I was always fascinated by gemstones. Later on, after I competed my master's degree in hydrogeology in Paris, I started my gemmological studies at Gem-A in London, because I wanted to get more involved in gemstones and jewellery. So I am now a Certified FGA Gemmologist.
Fashionchroism was created so that I can write about jewellery and gemstones combining them with fashion. Just giving my ideas on styling jewellery, some tips about gemstones and my personal taste about fashion in jewellery. The name was inspired from the Greek word pleochroism, meaning the different colours a gemstone can show. So, with a small change on this word, I created fashionchroism.
