St Valentin'es Jewellery Gift Guide

St Valentine's day is approaching and some of you might be on the gift hunt. I am here to help you by suggesting you some affordable and some luxury jewellery.

Before starting, I wanted to make a quick notice. For this lovers day, you don't have to offer a piece of jewel with a heart on it or with letters indicating the word love. The only thing that you need to check is the quality of pieces you buy and offer. It is better to offer a piece with a natural gemstone on it in a good quality metal, such as silver or gold. Buying jewellery is an investment.

A good idea is to find a gemstone on her favourite colour. For example, if she likes the blue colour, you can choose between blue topaz, blue sapphire or even aquamarine for a paler blue colour. Then, depending on your budget you can make your final choice. Blue sapphire has a variation of prices, due to its origin, its treated or not treated history etc. I think that an average solution is the blue topaz. On etsy website you can find a variations of blue topaz jewellery, such as the one shown below. This one is by Abiza Jewelry and it features a round cut blue topaz in a gold filled metal, but you can also find it in sterling silver.

I am sure the majority of you already know Pandora jewellery. You can find different kind of pieces, in a good quality and a various price range. I really like the idea of charms, for a Pandora bracelet. In case your girlfriend or wife has one, then it is a very good idea for a Valentine's gift.  You can find so many charms and you can choose according to her personal taste. Mine is the one shown below, with a suitcase charm, a gift charm, an angel's wing charm and finally a heart charm.

Last but not least, is to opt for a more expensive piece. In case you want to propose on Valentine's day and you need a unique ring, kind of different than the others, then I have a suggestion. This is a beautiful ring by MinimalVS etsy shop, which consists of a central pear shaped aquamarine, round cut diamonds and 1 pear cut diamond in an 18carat white gold metal. I mean, who could resist on this ring?! It is a bit expensive, but it is worth it! This engagement ring will be forever THE ring, so it has to be finely made.

I hope it was helpful. Don't forget to concentrate more on the personal taste of your lover, rather than yours. She has to like it and feel unique at the same time!
